Le Grand-Bornand is catapult-starting the 2009-10 season at the foot of the Floria chairlift, where a tented village of the main ski and board manufacturers will allow you to try out the latest gear for free. Free tests of the latest boards and skis during 2 days : compare equipment and discover the new trends of the different companies and manufacturers.

Crème de Chalet is a 18th century chalet d'hôtes, located right up the slopes, 5 mn away from the village. In the morning, put your skis on in the front yard and simply... go! In the evening, ski back to the chalet. Simple... No shuttle or walking needed. In summer, you have direct access to hiking paths, mountain biking and even paragliding.

Free tests of the latest boards and skis during 2 days : compare equipment and discover the new trends of the different companies and manufacturers.

Departure: La Côte [1450 m]
To: La Cascade Mystérieuse [1280 m]
On the map below, the starting point is #3, La Côte, hiking down (W & NW) towards #36 then SW towards La Cascade Mystérieuse. Here you will hike through forests and meadows, encounter farms and chalets and end up at the 'Mysterious Falls'. The way down takes 1h00. From La Cascade Mystérieuse you can choose to hike to Le Chinaillon center and then back up to La Côte through Les Ouatays. Closest accommodation at 10 minutes walk: Crème de Chalet .

Departure: La Côte [1450 m]
To: Le Lachat [2100 m]
On the map below, the starting point is #3, La Côte, hiking up (E) towards #49 then NE towards mount Lachat. Here you will hike through forests and meadows, encounter farms and chalets and end up at the highest point of Le Grand Bornand ski resort. From here the Mont Blanc can be admired, as well as the the Col de Anes, Les Aravis mountain range, Le Chinaillon and Le Grand Bornand. The way up takes 2h00, back down to La Côte 1h30. Alternatively the Lachat chair lift can be used up or down. This is the paragliding take-off area. Closest accommodation at 10 minutes walk: Crème de Chalet .

La Côte can be reached from Le Grand Bornand by telecabine Le Rosay.
